We currently focus on the oil and gas industry and are expanding due to the changing, tightening air quality regulations in Colorado. We are seeking full-time entry-level detail-oriented candidates with a technical background. Responsibilities and qualifications are below.
Responsibilities
- Assist senior staff in preparing technical documentation
- Support engineers and project managers with a variety of tasks
- Calculate emissions for air emission sources
- Work with large spreadsheets and copious amounts of data
- Collect, organize, and review compliance data (e.g., production data, audits, inspections, inventories, source tests, etc.)
- Evaluate compliance data against regulatory thresholds
- Build professional relationships and communicate with office and field personnel
- Maintain and manage environmental databases
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the physical sciences, or equivalent experience
- Highly organized with a focus on time management
- Experience with regulatory compliance, recordkeeping, and reporting
- Proven verbal and written communication skills
- Aptitude in general computer skills, especially the Microsoft Office suite
- Demonstrated ability to multitask while remaining detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to air quality or environmental engineering
- Understanding of the oil and gas industry
- Aptitude for social skills: communication, teamwork, social perceptiveness
